I was from a southern, conservative state where agnostics or people who were not christians were looked upon with suspicion. It was a very difficult time for me and this book, literally, saved my life. This book gave me permission to ask and expect the 'something more' from life that I wasn't getting. It gave me permission to live my authentic life, to be my authentic self, and to love myself for who I was. I will be eternally grateful to Ms. Breathnach for this book. I buy copies of it all the time and give as gifts to younger women, especially if they are struggling in life. I highly recommend everyone reading this book because it is truly eye opening and is a source of peace and comfort.
